Food Pantry

Picture
We provide non-perishable food and household items along with frozen goods to residents of La Fontaine and Liberty township. During the summer, we share fresh produce from our gardens.

Our pantry is open Monday - Thursday
10am - NOON. Donations can be dropped off anytime the church is open.

Summer Feed Program

We serve as a satellite location for this state sponsored meal program. This program was designed to serve kids who rely on reduced/free lunches through out the school year. In June and July, we serve free lunch for all kids through 18 years old every week day.

Thank You to all who helped at the park on Change The World Sunday

Our Sister Church
Iglesia Lenca Santidad Amor y Vida

For over a decade, we have partnered with this indigenous church  in the mountains of Honduras to make disciples of Jesus Christ who transform their community and the world.

Twice a year, Pastor Jorge visits our church and shares with us the vital ministry happening in Honduras. In recent years, we get regular updates through the pastors on Facebook. We have been blessed with the opportunity to visit our Lenca church three times through mission trips.

The Pastors

Angel and Claudia are the pastoral team leading the Lenca Church. Our goal is to provide funding for them to be able to serve the Lenca Church full time with a salary of $600 a month.

The second Sunday of every month, we have a special offering to help support Pastors Angel and Claudia in Honduras.

Pastor Angel is a welder by trade, and his vision is to  preach and teach welding and electrical skills to the Lenca people so they can better support their families. He wants to make leaders out of these men for the church and for the community.

Pastor Claudia is a gifted cook and teacher. She teaches a discipleship program. She also works with the women and has started a jam business that employs 10 families to utilize the wild mora berries.

Lenca Children

Our church funds a Feeding Program among the Lenca People in Honduras. We provide the complete funding for a daily meal for over 30 children in the Lenca community. For many of these children, this is their only reliable meal.
